“Portage Learning is the premier online resource for people who are just starting out in the world of coding,” said Lisa Levenson, a spokesperson for the Learning to Code Foundation.
“It’s an incredibly useful resource, and we look forward to the continued growth of Learn to Program for people in Canada and around the world.”
Learn to Code, which launched in the fall of 2016, is designed to provide a platform for learners to learn from, share knowledge and gain valuable feedback from experienced and novice developers alike.
The foundation was founded by Mark Jaffe, founder of the company Learning to Program, and David O’Neil, who is also an expert in the field.
“We’ve been working for the past several years to make learning to code accessible and affordable to everyone,” said Jaffe.
“Portage is the only online resource currently offering a comprehensive online course on the subject.”
“We hope that Learn to program will help everyone, no matter where they are in their journey toward the next step in their education, be able to learn the skills they need to build a future-proofing app.”
